BOHOL, an island of history, joy and faith

On Tuesday, 29th of September 2015

Bohol the island of Chocolate Hills, Tarsi monkeys and back in 1565 the site of the first treaty of friendship between the Spanish Colonialists and the Filipinos.

It is also the first region where the mission movement of NAC Canada started back in 1978 (after the start up in Manila in 1973). Today’s District Apostle had here his beginnings as a Priest in the field.

Carmen, the town known for the Chocolate Hills, hosted the Bohol Youth Day for the first time 26/27th September 2015. Saturday was a day of leisure for the youth. While they enjoyed  competitions and games, the District Rectors attended a seminar on the introduction of the new Catechism in Q&A format. Yet the evening was bringing choir and dance presentations titled “REJOICE ALWAYS”

(1. Thess 5:16)

before “grilling” the District Apostle with tough questions.

Sunday Service at our Carmen Church focused on  “Faith and following”

we preach Christ crucified, the power and wisdom of God

(1. Cor. 1:22-24)
