The District Apostle, together with Apostle M. Nuyad and L. Desoloc had a “multitasking” program in the  Davao del Norte region from 25^th to 28^th October.  Youth Day in Compostela Valey, a Priests seminar in Mati, 5 Divine services and even a wedding of a young couple who met each other on line in the NAC chat-room “nac-world”

The visit in the area of last year’s devastation by typhoon Bopha/Pablo was serving also due diligence. The relief program of NACSEAsia with funding from “humanitas” in Switzerland makes good progress. Housing material, re-refarming projects, cooperative based supply stores have brought back normal life to the people in the Municipality Montevista.  12 out of 14 community churches have been re-built. Now a classroom project for the elementary school  is in planning.

Also nature had shown its power to regenerate. While some 10 months ago every thing was razed away,  looking desperate we can see today again the whole area in green. Life is indeed a miracle of God’s creation. Power of destruction followed by the power of new life. Nature always regenerates, human beings included.
