The first Apostles and Bishops assembly for the Philippines in the year 2014 took place in Ozamis City and was hosted by Ap. Desoloc and Bh. Deniega . The District Apostle briefed the 5 Apostles and 7 Bishops on the latest development of re-building efforts in the  typhoon devastated Leyte area. Further subjects on the agenda were:  Ministry and awareness of sending, communication, confirmation and adoption as well the 2013 statistical figures on divine services. With reference to the Indonesian movie Cinta Dari Wamena the HIV/AIDS problem was discussed.

Bh Yang from Korea was part of the 3 days convention. Saturday night the Youth presented a lively musical program to welcome the guests and interesting questions were addressed to the visiting Philippine NAC Leaders in a special session of Q+A. All present could also get an impression of the preparations of the BARKADAS LAS FILIPINAS a group of 5 musicians and singers who will represent the Philippines at the forthcoming ICC in Munich/Germany.

Sunday morning divine service brought a message for the youth to be wise and recognize the will of God  (Ephesians 5:15-17) and after the artistic presentation of the song the Lord’s prayer Pr. Kim from Korea the main sermon offered an interpretation of Matthew 6:10 “Your Kingdom come, your will be done…”
