50 years New Apostolic Church in the Philippines

On Thursday, 17th of February 2022

This is our  golden Jubilee Year.

1972 the Japan based, Canadian Herb Pache, came to the Philippines to sow a seed. He sat in Rizal Park just waiting until he was approached by Carlos Gayon who was curious what this physicaly tall man in a black suit is about to do.

It was the beginning of the New Apostolic Church in the Philippines. A very unique development followed, from the Gayon family to today’s well founded church. From a missionary movement to an established church spreading  from Northern Luzon to Southern Mindanao. Congregations gathering in small barrio chapels as well as central churches in the bigger cities. With some 50’000 members still among the smaller denominations in this Christian country but well integrated in the international network of the Apostolate in the New Apostolic Church.

The church members are now eagerly waiting for the visit of Chief Apostle Jean Luc Schneider which is planned for October this year to commemorate this milestone in history of the Church in South East Asia.

A historical narrative is due to be published later in the year.
