A short visit in Samar and an evening sealing service at our Tacloban Church were the stops on the way to the Leyte Youth Day in Ormoc on 9th and 10th June. Over 100 youth from the working area of Bishop Puso have gathered at Bantigue Beach Resort in Ormoc, 2 days filled with competitions in Volleyball and Basketball as well as a fellowship evening with the District Apostle. The Divine Service for the Youth on Sunday morning was under the word of 1 Timothy 4:12. The youth shall assume a leadership position in society, in shool and workplace, their neighbourhood as well as in the congregation. Leadership by example. “To be an example we have to start with our selves and exercise discipline” the District Apostle elaborated. We are an example to the all by leading ourselves according to God’s word, conduct, love, spirit, faith and purity by abstaining from sin. Impossible perfection might one say, however what is not impossible with men, is possible with God (Luke 18:27)
