Mothers were celebrated at Makati Church. All received a rose pinned on their blouse upon arrival at the church. The children presented nice hymns and plays to the honor of mothers after the Divine Service. Saturday they finished their yearly Vacation Bible School which was celebrated with a graduation ceremony but also much fun with food and swimming activity sponsored by a local Deli Shop.
The youth participated but had their own evening program with the District Apostle who made statements to subjects requested by the young people. The Divine Service on Mothers Day was under the word from 1st John 3:7 “Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous…” A truly motherly advice.
