It was a rare event at Makati Church on Easter Sunday . Diamond wedding Blessing. Retired Deacon Francisco Eguia and his wife, Sister Restituta asked to be blessed on their 60 anniversary. Our Brother Francisco is with 93 years of age among the oldest members of the New Apostolic Church in the Philippines. His family was among the first souls sealed in the early 1970ties.

In the Easter Sermon, the District Apostle elaborated on the first words of Christ after His resurrection. “Rejoice“
“Do not be afraid” and “Go and Tell where to see me“. Still today we hear theses words from Jesus. Rejoice and don’t be afraid. Let your life be a testimony of Jesus living in you and thereby others see where to find the connection with the Son of God. Many are believing in Christ, ask for His help and comfort but the important thing Jesus offers is His resurrection to become also our resurrection. To have such faith means to trust in the words of Jesus and the power of His victory, commend ourselves to His care and love and be prepared to profess our faith and serve the Lord.
