Another Typhoon Hit The Philippines
Wednesday 16th July 2014. While Rebuilding and repair of damage caused by Typhoon Yolanda is still going on, Typhoon code named Rammasun/Glenda hit the Philippines. Affected in the activity area of NACSEARelief this time is the Bicol region. We are reaching out to our Brethren and the communities. Our Relief team is on the way to assess the situation.
Sunday 20th July, 8 Youth from Makati congregation reached Quezon Province. The Team Leader DE. Erlendo Depaz reports that 400 families could be reached and essentials like drinking water and foodstuff could be distributed.
The international Charity organisations of NAC have assured us of their support.
There are also good news. The reported missing families Olesco and Valdemor, victims of Typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban (San Jose Congregation) were found. All alive.
