Apostle ret Virgil Fuentes passed into the realm for the Departed
Sunday, 15th June 2014 our Apostle was buried by the 5 Apostles in the Philippines. The District Apostle who is still in Europe dedicated the word from 2. Corrinthians 5:7-8 “ For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord” “This word of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians comforts us. The more absent we are from the natural, the closer we come to the Lord Jesus. Virgil experiences this now, being absent from the body far from any earthly trouble. We shall remain one in the communion of Christ until the day of our reunion and meeting each other again on the day of the Lord’s return” the District Apostle wrote in his message.
Ap. Fuentes was called home by our heavenly Father on Saturday, June 7 2014, shortly after his 73rd anniversary.

Apostle Fuentes was among the first 3 Brothers with whom we started our Mission in the Philippines in 1978. For many years we labored together in building up God’s work in Bohol and the Visayas. Apostle Fuentes was a protestant Pastor before he joined the New Apostolic Church. He had theological knowledge and was a very competent translator of our literature for many years. His last project that he accomplished, was the translation of the CATECHISM. His passion was music. Thankful we want to remember what this man of God has done in his time and look forward to continue our oneness in the communion with Christ till we meet again.” Apostle Fuentes leaves his wife, 5 Children (4 sons and 1 daughter) and grand-children. We extend our sincerest condolences and sympathy to them and gladly include the bereaved in our sincere intercessions.
