Thanksgiving Day was a feast of joy in the house of God even though Metro Manila is still in a government declared state of calamity. Also Brothers and Sisters affected by the flood have attended in great numbers and expressed their thankfulness and joy. The rich altar decoration of fruit and vegetable was distributed to the needy families. One more congregation was identified as being affected by the catastrophe. Gratitude, honour and glory to God even in the face of misery and calamity was the theme of the day. God blesses the seed and the word from Mark 4:26-29 served as the bases for the sermon by the District Apostle in our Makati Church.
