All Apostles from South East Asia gathered in Makati to celebrate Pentecost. In a work meeting on Saturday all pending issues concerning the church in Asia have been discussed. The Pentecost Divine Service at Makati church was based on the Chief Apostle’s message TRUE FREEDOM “now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2nd Corinthians 3:17) The Pentecost Service in Chicago where Chief Apostle Leber served was experienced life, via internet but in the Philippines it was already midnight, nevertheless the connection was appreciated. “The words of Greeting”, a traditional yearly message to all congregations worldwide reads as follows:
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” (1st Corinthians 15:57) On Golgotha, Christ gained the greatest victory ever – over death. Those belonging to Christ’s Own will have a share in His victory. The text is reminiscent of the Lord assisting us and providing us strength to gain victories ourselves, as little as may be. We shall be victorious
– over the unbelief,
– over a boundless egoism,
– over downheartedness,
– over idleness.
Our resolution shall be: Gaining a victory on each and every day!
