20/21 July 2016. After Midweek Divine Services in Dumaguete City and on Siquijor island the District Apostle and the Apostles Samuel from Indonesia as well as  the two Apostles responsible for the Island of Negros reached Bais where at the beach over 500 youth have gathered. After a day of play,Saturday night all gathered in fellowship. Main topic was to ask the Apostles all kind of questions mostly on biblical interpretations. In a heart to heart talk the District Apostle appealed to  seek first the connection with the Lord, meaning His congregation, wherever you go in life. Do not make decisions based on the attractiveness of the opportunity but the offer of soul salvation. Ask in prayer first before making decisions you might  regret after. Adam and Eve faced one snake. The spirits today, trying to lead mankind are many, many different snakes but still the same and one evil source. Let us follow Jesus, the gospel, the living word as a firstling, giving priority, and good decisions will be possible. Seek first the kingdom of God, ask, knock….

Sunday came and as early as 530 am the youth greeted the coming day at the beach with a contemplation. The theme of the divine service was: “Serve Christ freely, not to become a slave of man” (1. Corinthians, 7:23) Guided by the Holy Spirit we are not impressed by the power of men, and please God, rather than conform to the worldly. We serve Jesus first and not our earthly ambition.
