1st to 9th February 2014, District Apostle visits Bohol, Cebu, Leyte
in a combination of pastoral visit and a due diligence survey on the humanitarian aid projects of NACSEARelief and its international affiliates. In Bohol 5 Church Buildings have been totally damaged and 10 need repair. Work has not started yet because after shocks might still cause additional damage. New Jersey Brethren Join Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Project For The Philippines
The American Christian organization Samaritan’s Purse launched the action “Operation Christmas Child”. Shoeboxes filled with goodies, mostly gifts for children, were flown to the Philippines for distribution in the typhoon affected areas in Leyte.
